Free JSON feed for developers

The same data is published every morning as a small JSON file: today's and tomorrow's tithi with exact start and end times, the nakshatra at sunrise, New Delhi sunrise, sunset and Rahu Kaal, and the next Ekadashi, Purnima and Amavasya. It is free to use in apps and sites; please credit and link to drrpsharma.com.

Times are ISO 8601 with the +05:30 offset. The file is refreshed daily and can be fetched from any website (cross-origin requests are allowed).

How the times are calculated

The card uses the same engine as the site's Rahu Kaal and Choghadiya tools: sunrise and sunset for the coordinates you give, divided by the classical rules for each weekday. It runs in your visitors' browsers, so it keeps working without any account or key.
