I began my practice in Faridabad in 1979 after earning a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Acharya from Delhi University and have since conducted several lakh consultations. I served on Speaking Tree and recorded more than 48,000 explanatory sessions on YouTube to help people understand the light of the grahas without confusion or fear.
It means reading the karmic language written in the sky at birth through the positions of the grahas in the twelve bhavas (houses), the nakshatras they occupy, and the dashas (planetary periods) that unfold your inbuilt strengths and challenges. The chart is a cosmic photograph, not a fate sentence; it shows the field of action, not every blade of grass.
Predictions are as accurate as the data and the astrologer’s skill; a chart based on verified birth details yields reliable timing of events through dashas and transits, especially when corroborated by strong yogas such as Gajakesari or Pancha Mahapurusha. Weak or missing data (time of birth, place) introduces error, so always provide exact lagna and nakshatra before any reading.
Astrology reveals the probable flow; free will works through karma-upaya—action guided by dharma. If Mars in the 6th house shows health strain, wearing a calibrated coral (with physician’s approval) and chanting the Mars beej mantra once in the morning for 108 repetitions can strengthen immunity and resolve. The chart shows the door; you open it.
Vedic astrology uses the fixed sidereal zodiac, nakshatra-based dashas, and bhava calculations that align with karma and time, giving clearer timing of events. Western astrology’s movable tropical zodiac is calibrated to seasons, not stars, so timing of marriage, childbirth, or career shifts is less precise unless adapted to Jyotish’s ayanamsa and dasha systems.
An incorrect outcome often means the period (dasha) or transit (gochara) was misread, or the chart lacked exact birth details. Recheck the lagna and nakshatra; verify the dasha sequence from the exact birth time. If Rahu is strong in the 3rd house in Leo, sudden journeys may occur; if Leo’s lord Sun is debilitated, delays appear. Correct the chart, not the stars.
A local astrologer can read subtle cues in your speech, examine your hand-writing or family photos for additional clues, and perform live rituals if required. An online reading works well when birth data is precise and you send a clear photo of yourself; both are effective, but the personal presence can deepen trust when remedies are given face-to-face.
A free automated horoscope uses a template program that places planets in signs and houses from a single birth data point; it cannot weigh yogas, nakshatra dispositors, or the strength of the Moon as the mind and lagna lord. A paid human reading integrates transits, dasha timing, and practical remedies grounded in the exact lagna, nakshatra, and Ashtakavarga scores, giving actionable insight.
A daily forecast based only on nakshatra can colour your day, but it lacks house placement and dasha context, so it may suggest “Mars day” while ignoring that Mars is combust or retrograde in your 12th house. Use it as a gentle reminder, not a directive; check your annual dasha before making major decisions.
Differences usually stem from choice of ayanamsa, house system (Bhava or whole sign), or emphasis on certain yogas. One may focus on Saturn in the 10th house giving career delays, another may highlight Jupiter’s aspect on the 10th lord for expansion. Always ask which house system and dasha sequence is used, and request cross-checking of Atmakaraka and Darakaraka.
