How to choose a mukhi from your chart
- Find your lagna (ascendant) and which planets rule good houses for it — the 1st, 5th and 9th lords are generally helpful.
- See which of those helpful planets is weak (debilitated, combust or in the 6th, 8th or 12th house), or whose mahadasha is running.
- The bead of that planet is the usual choice. Strengthening a planet that rules difficult houses for your lagna is not recommended.
Example: for Mesha (Aries) lagna, Mars is the lagna lord; if it is weak, 3-mukhi is the bead considered.

- Buy from a seller who gives a lab report and a return policy.
Wearing it
