The “top” astrologer is the one whose Mercury is strong in the 2nd or 5th house of speech and knowledge, whose Saturn in the 3rd or 11th house confirms disciplined practice, and who consistently applies classical principles across many consultations. Experience measured in decades, not in years, is what distinguishes reliable insight from fleeting predictions.
Who is the best astrologer in India?
There is no official ranking in jyotish. The most respected practitioners are those whose Mars is well-placed in a kendra and whose chart shows the Yoga of Jupiter (Gajakesari or Hamsa) combined with service to knowledge (Brihaspati aspect on the 10th house of karma). Look for an Acharya with formal degrees and published work rather than popularity alone.
How do I find a genuine, experienced Vedic astrologer?
Seek an astrologer whose Jupiter is in a kendra or trikona, unafflicted by Saturn or Rahu, and whose Mercury is strong in the 5th or 9th house. Verify that they have studied classical texts, use ephemeris-correct panchang calculations, and offer remedies rooted in scripture (mantra, ratna, daan) rather than quick fixes. A genuine practitioner will never promise results or pressure you for money.
Can I trust an astrologer who posts many testimonials or ratings?
Testimonials cannot substitute for the strength of graha drishti and dasha logic in a chart.
